Has anyone yet received his/her copy of "Four for Fear" (including Ramsey's "The Callers") from PS Publishing? They replied to my enquiry stating there was a problem with the bindings so the copies had to be returned to the printers. They were very laconic about the timing of the problem and dispatchability of the book.
There seems to be some conflict because Ramsey's announcement of the book's availability has been on the news section here for more than one month, beside the PS website and newsletters. I'd like to know whether the book has even begun to get around so I can write back to PS for more detailed information regarding the fate of my copy! Thanks a lot for any tip. |

When we launched the book at Hull we found that a number of copies had a four-page section that came loose as soon as you opened the book at it. I assume this was true of more copies. Presumably PS have had to sort it out with the binders, who will be the source of any delay, and obviously PS can't give a date if they don't know it themselves. |

Hi Ramsey, I spoke too early: the book safely arrived this morning! No need to check with Pete. I hope you haven't done already, I wouldn't like having been a bother to you both. If I was, I am sorry! Thank you for your ever kind attention! I can't wait to read the Quartet this evening and am looking forward to "The Kind Folk" materializing at PS. |
