Dear all,

Hope you're having a fine summer. Here at GFP, we're about to launch a bunch of books, starting with the first in a new line of sensational new paperbacks.

NEW BLOOD will feature short story collections from some of the brightest new stars of horror fiction. Number 1 in the series is PEEL BACK THE SKY from Stephen Bacon. This 21 story collection, featuring an introduction by Nicholas Royle and wonderful cover art by Les Edwards, is available now.

The shop mannequins that appear to have a life of their own . . .the monstrous insect that consumes men's thoughts . . . the shadowy organisation that wreaks terror to the public . . . the overgrown garden blighted by a centuries-old curse . . . These tales map the darkest recesses of our minds. They document the madness and cruelty that exists in the places we do not wish to visit.

ORDER NOW: http://www.grayfriarpress.com/catalogue/peelback.html

The following few months will also see the release of the second entry in the NEW BLOOD series, Thana Niveau's FROM HELL TO ETERNITY. There's also the new entry in our Terror Tales series - this time, of East Anglia - as well as a bumper new collection from its editor Paul Finch. We also have a huge collection of novellas from Simon Bestwick, number 6 in our Gray Matter series.

That's all the news for now. Tune in soon for more info about all the forthcoming stuff.

Congratulations, Stephen! That's a very atmospheric cover. It brings to mind Night of the Demon. I can just imagine Karswell's demon materialising over the train.

This does look good. All the best shades of blue in one cover. And there are some terrific stories there.

I'm certainly very tempted by this. I've loved Steve's stories that I've read elsewhere - mostly the ones in Des' Megazanthus books.

Thanks again, folks, for the interest.
It is a beautiful cover. Very traditional, but that's the kind of guy I am.
Joel, thanks for reading it in its early stage, and for providing a blurb.

Thana Niveau's collection is up next, something I'm excited about.
And then Simon's set of novellas and Paul's newest anthology and a collection - there's a great deal to look forward to from GFP.

Just finished Lady P's collection and am now engrossed in young Master Bacon's. The first was excellent, and so far so's the second. Only good things to say, I'm afraid... :-)
