John Ajvide Lindqvist has a new book out - Let the Old Dreams Die. It's a collection of short fiction and apparently contains follow ups to Handling the undead and Let the Right One in. For the first time since starting reading his work, I'm not entirely sure I want to buy this one. Do we really need to know what happened next to Eli and Oskar? |

Weber, Eli and Oskar feature only as minor characters in the story and it's quite beautifully done with their future together hinted at rather than described in detail. The story itself is a superb character piece on love and devotion that works well in parallel to the story of Oskar and Eli. |

That's good news. I'll drop hints to my dear old mother as to what might make a good birthday present in that case. |
