We humans have all manner of conflicting agendas -- a self-centred 'hornet nest' of religion, gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, art appreciation, political creed, social class, sharing of world resources etc. It will take an alien invasion to cut through all this crap. |

The problem with the analogy is that hornets live in harmony with each other. It looks chaotic but it's supremely organised and peaceful - until some form of outside appears, at which point their teamwork becomes lethal... |
