OooooOOOOooooOOOooh. I'm quite tempted by this, just not sure if I can justify the purchase right now. The free shipping might push me over the edge, though. |

Push me it did. Just ordered it. Not only that, I found that Book Depository site were selling Simon Marsden's posthumously published new book Russia for about a fiver cheaper than anywhere else so I went for that too. Oops. Still, photobooks are an investment, the previous two in that series apparently sell for around £150 each these days. |

Excellent! I hope they deliver it to you soon. I used to use The Book Depository and found them reliable |

I actually got it the other day (though I'm still waiting for the photo book). I haven't had a chance to read any of it yet though, I've got a couple of library books I have to finish soon before getting into anything else. |

Leaving me aside (although it is my first NZ story ...and my heart and soul went into it) the TOC is top. |

I'm so loving NZ but the dystopian novel is coming...as it does with me...under the surface until I can no longer contain it. |

The first review of The Grimscribe's Puppets is in... 'Allyson Bird's Gailestis is a fine example of quiet horror. The story is almost reminiscent of a fairy tale or piece of folklore, with horrific implications strewn throughout.' http://www.arkhamdigest.com/2013/07/review-grimscribes-puppets-edited-by.html |

Nice one! I'm actually still reading this, even though I've had it for a year. I just dip into it now and then when I'm in the mood. I think I'm about two-thirds of the way through now. |
