I went for a walk on Boxing Day and found this at the edge of the woods, at the back of a field containing the remains of a neolithic tomb. It's several loose branches propped against a low hanging tree branch, with a stick hanging by a rope at the "entrance" and a semicircle of dead ferns in front. What is it? It seems too small and, well, odd to be a children's den. A makeshift shrine to some dark, pagan god? I'm considering leaving an offering, but worried at what the consequences may be.  | ||

Eeek! Weren't there dangling twigs tied to trees in a scene in The Blair Witch Project? Perhaps you'd better not go walking in the woods, David. Or, if you do, take a camcorder with you. Whoever finds the footage afterwards could release the film then ...  | ||

Lincoln, I shall be keeping a wary eye out for men on ride-on lawnmowers. Sadly Caroline walking in the woods is the only interesting thing to do around here, so I'd say I'm doomed. |
