No surprise I didn't enjoy creepyness/beauty/melancholy/eeriness-free Dracula by Steven Moffatt, the equivalent of Joe Dante's Star Trek, or just that Last Jedi film.

Scrap that. I'm won round. It's ace. If I want the old one it's in the book, which I have started reading and loving all over again. Books like that you have to read a few times in your life they're such a great, pleasurable gift.

I haven't seen it, but a couple of months ago I was at a talk by the creators of it. They were such entertaining minds to be in a room with, everything you'd hope they'd be, including being warm human beings.

Mark Gatiss said that when you look at all of the films, Dracula is simultaneously immortal and vulnerable to EVERYTHING.

I loved the show. It had feelings and made us grow. I've seen nothing like it in a long time.
Last year I bought a huge tv and the first thing I put on it was Lugosi's Dracula. It took my breath away. Everything about it. He was melancholy from the off, and deep melancholy can make us harsh sometimes. It became my favourite Dracula.
But you are so lucky to have seen this.
Wish you were on Instagram, it's an OK place, I like seeing people's worlds, like Drac crying seeing the sun in the series.

Moff talks to fan on Instagram. He is nice, and GOOD. Highlight of Christmas was rewatching his Dr Who A Christmas Carol. Was perfect. I've come to love him because I realized he was Who's Hans Christian Anderson.

I don't have any way of watching it, I'm afraid. I'll see it when it comes out on DVD I suppose.
Glad you enjoyed it. I'll check out the Lugosi Dracula though, I have that on blu ray.

(I don't know if that chap's head is big or his neighbour's is small.)
