Background

A post training competencies benchmarking exercise was required to identify ongoing training requirements, for a CRM system

 

Requirements

Having invested considerable resources into system development, deployment and training, an objective measure was required of how effectively the sales force had been trained, their skills levels post training and their ongoing training requirements to ensure ROI.

 

Solution

A data set of minimum required competency standards was formulated. Training modules were built accordingly and deployed on removable media. Users were required to complete the exercises by a stipulated deadline. No repeat takes were allowed. The metrics recorded were compiled and reported, allowing the client to see how effective the training had been and to obtain a list of remedial training requirements.

 

Benefit

An objective measure of post training competency was obtained without the need to take the sales force off the road. Remedial requirements were delivered remotely, based on the needs of the individual.
