Blimey, what a week, I haven't had time to post my short review of Reggie Olivers 'Stage Frights' that Soozy & I went to see last week at The Cut Theatre in Halesworth. Stage Frights consists of two performances, 'Pusscat' & 'The Copper Coloured Wig' (apologies to Reggie, if I have the titles wrong). We arrived a little late and missed the first ten minutes or so of 'Pusscat' but soon found our place in the tale...Very good it was too, Reggie, who I have only met a couple of times and seems such a quiet man, absolutely brought the piece to life using just a chair table, table & his great talent at commanding the stage. I, and I am sure the rest of audience were mesmerised. The second tale, 'The Copper Coloured Wig' was even better, and as Reggie told me after the performance he felt relaxed into the performance by then. It is a sign of the quality of Reggies' writing & performance that he filled the strangely flat feeling Theatre, the Cut with atmosphere. Highly recommended if Stage Frights come near you! gcw |

Reggie performed "Pusscat" at Fantasycon, and very splendid it was. I believe he may perform both pieces at WHC in Brighton. |

I'm pretty sure he is. One night (Saturday, I believe) we're doing a Gloaming between his two pieces. It's a Gloam-sandwich. Made of Reggie-bread. |
