I was passing a local cinema today and noticed a poster for a horror film I'd never heard of until now. It's called The Shock Labyrinth and is directed by Takashi Shimizu (the Juon films, Marebito) and is being touted as Japan's first 3D film. From what I could make out from the poster it's about a group of friends who find themselves trapped in a haunted hospital with a 'friend' who mysteriously disappeared a decade earlier. Some of it was filmed in a huge haunted house theme park in Japan, apparently. It starts playing at theatres here next month, so if anyone's interested I'll report back when I've seen it. |
