You haven't, have you?! Boy do I hate that programme. I can't stand the tendency to have game shows where you have to ridicule people in order to win. I like good, old-fashioned sportsmanship myself. I guess it's why I can't watch football nowadays either - too much diving and trying to cheat. Anyway, I know it's popular and a lot of people do like it, so good luck Weber. But rather you than me!  (BTW anyone remember 15 to 1? My friend was on that. She made it to the TV thing, but got knocked out first time round though  ) | ||

Oh, and the same friend sent me a picture of her and her hubby sitting behind the panel in the audience of one of those reality shows (X Factor, I think?). She's a bit of a devil for wanting to appear on telly is my old school friend.  | ||

I hate 'The Weakest Link' but wouldn't miss a chance to see our Weber clash heads with Anne Robinson (can't stand the woman). I'm with you, Caroline, '15 to 1' was (is?) a far superior and more entertaining game show. Always found TWL a bit naff and illogical in its set-up. | ||

I think it went OK. I had a large southern comfort about half an hour before, just to rest the nerves and it seemed to do the trick. They give you a question sheet with 20 questions on and three minutes to do it in, followed by a round of the game with your fellow auditionees (but a substitute Anne). After that they take you one by one into a room and... | ||

One of the main things they were checking us for - to see if we stood up well to being insulted. The main thing they said about me was comments about being bald - which I really don't care about. there's more dinity in a shaved head than a comb-over. | ||
