So...I do know that a lot of these are now on DVD and so not worth much, but there are a few not as yet. Any of you who fans looking for a copy of anything? few quid to a good home....? It's that or ebay...or even ye charity shoppe! Lemme know of interested. gcw |

Ooooooo - my tongue's hanging out in anticipation. Do you have any Seventh Doctor ones, GCW? If so, I'd be really interested. I'm still in the dark ages and watching videos, I'm afraid. Email me on callag at blueyonder dot co dot uk if you think you might have anything of interest to me. Cheers!

GCW, does your collection include any scarce items that were not released commercially? If so, I can put you in touch with one or two avid collectors... |

Joel, no, these are simply BBC Videos, I do have the very early edited ones though. (While you are about Joel...Curry at Fantasycon? also, if you are going, if you slip a couple of poetry books in your satchel I would be interested -ta!) Caroline, sorry no later ones, I have a fairly wide selection of Pertwee's & Bakers, plus a few Pat Troughton. Be in touch folks - gotta go, I'm doing the garden hedges! gcw.x |

Joel - don't worry, I didn't think you were trying to "outbid" me! Fair enough to mention to Gary that if he had any scarce ones, he'd be better getting in touch with the avid collector. GCW - never mind. Thinking about it, it's probably about time I bought some DVDs instead anyway (I do have a DVD player, it's just that I still tend to use the video more often). If you decide to go down the eBay route, take a look at what Doc Who videos are alrady going for on there. I've noticed that prices are very low - it might not be worth you listing them/paying the fees. Finding a collector who wants the lot (or several who want several lots) might be your best bet. |

GCW – I've now booked for Fantasycon. Please add me to the curry list. Thanks! And I'll bring copies of my poetry books – thanks for your interest. |

He should open a little stall. Get one of those carts maybe. 'Remember these quirky old things, folks? Maybe you haven't heard one before. Poems!' 'Joel's Poetry Cart'. I can actually see it.

"He should open a little stall" Perhaps one of those ice cream teller type things they used to have at the flicks when Mick was a lad... I'll have a wafer... gcw |

Super pics - thanks for that, Sean! I was wondering whether to go and see Doctor Who Live, but it's so damned expensive so I haven't booked. Thinking of DW monsters, the funniest thing I ever saw was at a small DW event in Lancashire a few years ago. It was being held at a cricket club. The Hyde Fundraisers were there, dressed as various DW characters, raising funds for charity as they do. They ended up staging a cricket match. There was the Fifth Doctor playing with an Ood, an Ogron, a Cyberman and various other characters I can't recall. It was so surreal! Wish I'd had a camera with me to capture the moment! |

Nice one Caroline, lol! The Dr Who pics i always found most striking as a child were the ones featuring a normal city street as the backdrop. The classic shot of the Cybermen outside St Paul's Cathedral still holds a certain awe for me today. I'll definitely be taking my 8 year old daughter to the Dr Who Live event in Belfast in November. She's a really big fan of the latest incarnation. If anything even remotely like this had come along to Belfast in the 70's, I think i would have spontaneously combusted with excitement! |

Aw, I'm jealous! I think another reason I didn't book is because I don't have access to a child I could take with me. I mean, I'd feel daft going without a child. I suppose I could just grab one off the street to take along ...? |
