Why has no one mentioned this new BBC sf series? Does everyone hate it so much they are too apoplectic to speak or are we all too mesmerised to write? Me, I'm enjoying it for what it is, an over-earnest, generic 1940s - 50s science fiction story wth a great cast of characters, good, fast pace, lots of sub-plots and fun. At last the BC is investing in some sf drama. Cheers Terry |

Actually, Terry, saw the 1st episode on Sunday, and thought it was rather good, as you say, in generic 1940's way. It's nice to see the story not backtracking but simply starting up mid-flow. And some very good actors. Especially Daniel May. |

I saw 20 mins of the first episode by accident, and thought it was terrible. Didn't bother watching it again. |

Zed - no, mate, you're wrong. TERRIBLE is Bedlam on Sky HD. Never in the history of horror TV has something like this stunk quite so badly. Outcasts has now been pulled and stuck in a late-night slot. |

Outcasts was pretty awful. It's like Battlestar Galactica made by the Eastenders crew. |
