Just spotted this when I was browsing Waterstones website looking for local book signings: http://www.waterstones.com/waterstonesweb/displayDetailEvent.do?searchType=1&aut hor=Joe|Hill Not local to me as it's in London but thought some of you might be interested. He seemed like a very nice chap when I saw him in Leeds the other year. "Horns" is excellent (though not the NEW book Waterstones describes it as - guess this is a paperback issue?) |

May well pop up to London for this, depending on whether anything else is going on closer to home on that day... |

He is a very entertaining chap at signings. He also doodles on your books for you when he signs them. He's also the dead spit of his Dad twenty years ago. One thing you'll notice is that when he refers to hiself with his dad's surname he refers to himself as Joseph. When he talks about himself under his mother's maiden name, he becomes Joe... Please John, if you go to this can you ask him how many times does he need to hear the "You must be joking! No he's Joe King!" joke before he snaps? |

Joe was at World Horror in Texas a few weeks ago. His reading - from the novel he's currently writing - was absoultely bloody superb. He's a lovely guy and a talented writer. It was really nice to meet him again. |
