The protagonist of my new novel Ghosts Know is a radio presenter. His show is based to some extent on the one Roger Phillips hosts on Radio Merseyside. Roger's an equable chap, but occasionally a caller gets to him on a gut level. No wonder in the case of Eileen from Norris Green.
