Hello all,

On Friday 28th October, Twisted Tales will be celebrating Halloween and one year of promoting the best of 21st century horror. We are marking this occasion with an event based around the Solaris haunted house anthology House of Fear, with readings from Adam Nevill, Lisa Tuttle and Nicholas Royle. Full details can be found here:

Please help us to spread the word. If you have any questions or comments about this event, post them in this thread.

Best,

David

Only sorry I can't make this, but for those who can it will be a top evening, and I'm not just saying that because I edited the anthology.

I think someone needs to take another look at Nick Royle's name...

It's normally Adam's surname that gets mangled.

Thanks for pointing that out. For various reasons the flyer was produced by a colleague over the weekend in order to get it ready for today. It was a typo that I missed in the joy at having something so striking produced under such tight time constraints. I saw this message about 45 minutes ago and he has already amended it. The revised version is now live.

For future reference, please email me if there is a problem, as I have my account open while I work and will act as soon as I receive notification.

Cheers,

David

Just a thought, but might it be worth running this kind of stuff by the participants in advance of publication? Belt and braces?

Thanks for sorting that David, and sorry I don't spot it. Just got back off holiday yesterday so my brain wasn't firing on all cylinders.

And anyway, folks, now the typo is sorted, the event looks brilliant, no?

Wish I could attend this, but I help coach my son's U8 football team on Friday evenings. Hope it goes well!

Weber, fair point- only a few people here have my personal email address. The Twisted Tales email account is twistedtalesevents@gmail.com (I check this several times per day). Hopefully this won't happen very often!

It was entirely my fault; I was working on far too many projects over the weekend and checked the details whilst not noticing the typo on his name. The document the information was copied from had been thoroughly checked. I wanted to know earlier so that I could correct the error as soon as possible. I only come on here every so often.
