 Which reminds me (turning serious for a moment), did you see the sad news the other day that David Croft, the creator of Mrs Slocombe and many other memorable characters, had died? I know his sitcoms weren't to everyone's taste (totally un-PC nowadays), but I loved them. Sad to see him go. RIP to a great sitcom writer. | ||

Thanks, Des! I didn't know whether they'd put that up on the site yet or not. Yes, it arrived in the post last week, direct from Nick Jackson, signed and with lovely sketches. Beautiful! I've only had the chance to read the first story so far - Anton's Discovery - which was excellent. And, of course, the title story was in .. er .. was it Cern Zoo, or Zencore? Sorry, can't quite remember which one. He's a great "weird" writer.  |
