I haven't mentioned new sales here in a while, because I didn't want to be called names, but here's a few nice things forthcoming from me.

My uncharacteristically brutal short novel THE SEVERANCE will be published by Creeping Hemlock Press next year. It's a zombie book with a difference and introduces a character called Stephen Hobbs, an Indiana Jones-like academic who drops Es at weekends.

I've sold short stories to:

ST Joshi (antho to be confirmed)
Michael Kelly (Shadows and Tall Trees)
Paul Finch (Terror Tales of East Anglia, London and the Seaside)
Pete Crowther (Postscripts)

And my next book, SHADES OF NOTHINGNESS, will be available from PS Publishing late this year.

That's it! Hand-y work over!

"because I didn't want to be called names"

(*sniggers* Little does he know that we all call him names anyway)

But seriously, Gary, very well done.

By the way, if you, or any other author here in fact, want me to pop some "author news" up on the BFS website, you know where I am.

I'm going to call you names! I'm going to call you "Gary Fry" from now on!

Serously, though, very well done indeed - looking forward to them all.

Good show, Gary!

I'm a bit under some bad weather and have to be quiet for awhile . . . but congratulations! Be back soon!

Paul Finch (Terror Tales of East Anglia, London and the Seaside)

Isn't this essentially selling a story to yourself?

Paul has complete control over the project. He can reject anything he wants. It's his baby. He approached me at FCon to proved the technical know-how.

I did hear rumours of a Libor-esque banking scam whereby the regional Terror Tales anthologies were funded through financial derivatives of the PS Publishing account.

I didn't believe it though. It would have been robbing Peter to pay Paul.
