Follow the link. What's disturbing is that 'they' killed it without thinking, teenagers or not. Our first impulse, kill it first, ask questions later. Or fuck it first, ask questions later. I hope it was just a prank, and not authentic. Whatever the poor thing might have been. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/centralamericaandthecaribbean/panama/6 201333/New-Montauk-Monster-spotted-in-Panama.html |

There's a great episode of Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World about Bigfoot. In it the number one Bigfoot hunter is interviewed. He speculates about how few in number the Bigfoot (plural Bigfeet?) must be, and then when asked what he'll do when he finally spots one, replies: shoot it. As an aside, why do so many folks who like guns also have those moustaches? |

Ugh, that's a bit creepy. It probably is a hoax (I, too, hope so for the creature's sake) but the "kill first, ask questions later" mentality is a nasty human trait. I was messing about on YouTube a while back when I came across some clips of "weird creatures" (don't know the link, but you might find it if you search something like that). Some were recent hoaxes (Photoshopped, and pretty obvious) but some were pictures taken way back of actual faked "monsters". Really creepy looking stuff. |
