I've just seen some of these for £25 each today - is that good value? They're £50 on the net. Different covers, though. Anyway - it sounds intriguing - is it any good? |

I bought the 1st.ed paperback of this and I really enjoyed it. (especially the pulp cover) Some readers found the ending unsatisfactory. I suppose it is the multiple Subpress ones you are referring to Tony? They always make beautiful books- having said that, it is a pretty short piece... |

Has anyone read The Colorado Kid? Is it recommended? |

I've read it. (Sorry for the late reply, Huw!) I enjoyed it, but it probably shouldn't have appeared in the pulp line up. It's not a horror; I'd say it's more mainstream. A long novella, it'd have fitted in one of his collections, probably his last best of all. A great buy for a paperback original, though. |
