I checked out CHAW, the new South Korean horror-comedy over the weekend.

The emphasis is actually more on comedy than horror, but it has its moments.

Supposedly came from the same stable as THE HOST, but it doesn't even close to that in terms of creature feature quality. That said, the monster, when it finally appears, isn't too bad.

Overall, I will admit to being a little disappointed.

I won a copy of this in the Black Static competition several months ago...I keep picking it off the shelf and then putting it back again. For me, Razorback will always remain the ultimate in porcine horror. Oink, oink.

Zed, have you seen the one where a herd of pigs start to grow wings? I think it was called Caring Conservatism.

It was promoted as being due for UK release this spring, but instead we got a version with flightless but savage carnivore pigs joined at the hip to toothless bleating sheep.

It's a remake isn't it, Joel? I saw the original back in the late 1980s...It was rubbish.

Razorback is perhaps poor Mulcahy's best movie, though I will always love and cherish the silliness of Highlander.
