Some on this list we all know, but some, perhaps not, have a look and then watch the trailers, wherever they may be: http://horror.about.com/od/horrortoppicklists/tp/Best-Worst-Horror-Movies.htm |

Troll 2 is legendary. Never seen it, though. Which is probably a good thing, because I no longer have the patience to watch movies that are so bad they are enjoyable. |

I've seen 'Troll' & 'Troll II' as a 2-in-1 DVD package fairly cheap. I do enjoy low budget horror movies when it is obvious tongues are wedged firmly in cheeks. There's a fine line between getting the right balance of knowing campy humour and being just plain bad. Many of my favourite "bad" movies, that get it exactly right, came from the decade that taste forgot - the 1980s. Witness: 'The Deadly Spawn' (1983), 'Spookies' (1986), 'Killer Klowns From Outer Space' (1988), etc... of course there was even more genuine shite around in those days as well lol. |

I remember Goblin 2 - set in the town of Nilbog (see what they did there) the new family who've just moved in have to deal with goblins who want to eat them. Unfortunately, because the goblins are vegetarian they have to trick our family into drinking a magic potion that turns them into plants before they can eat them... It's not quite as good as it sounds. |

Made me chuckle, reading through some of those highlights/lowlights! I'm glad to see "Plan 9 From Outer Space" is on the list - Ed Wood is the king when it comes to making films which are so bad they're brilliant. "Troll 2" does, indeed, sound worth watching! Interesting to see that awful rehash .. er, sorry .. remake of "The Wicker Man" on there too. |

Is that not the aforementioned legendary 'Troll II', Weber? |

It is indeed Troll 2! I'd retitled it in my head obviously in an attempt to make it slightly better... As badly thought out films go, this takes some beating. For well made "Bad films" try the Lost Skeleton of Cadavra and it's sequel - The Lost Skeleton Returns Again. They're pitch perfect spoofs of the worst efforts of cheap filmmakers of the 50s through to the 80s. Just ask Lord P or Zed |

Have you seen 'Machete' yet, Weber? It also is a pitch perfect spoof of OTT 80s action flicks that was so hilarious I went to see it twice in one week. The most hugely entertaining movie of last year by a country mile imho. |

I've seen none of these, but the idea of Chuck Norris playing a character called 'Frank Shatter' will keep me laughing - 'chuckling', if you will - for a hours. |

They say the worst line ever uttered in a film is Shark Attack 3: Megalodon's "What do you say I take you home and eat your p****?" Is this line spoken by the shark? If so, I demand a recount. |

Penne? Pasta? Peach? Pesto? Pride? Actually, that last one's pretty apt. |

Birdemic! Believe me, there are no words. Part of the fun of Troll 2 is that the writer and director were deadly serious about it and still think it's an important film that has been misunderstood. See them in the documentary Best Worst Movie... |

Isn't Laserblast more of a sci-fi movie than a horror movie? |

What's that B film where a guy is bitten by a small rodent-like creature in a zoo and things rapidly deteriorate from there? I'm still undecided whether I find this picture good or bad. It certainly provided a few laughs. |

Are you thinking of Peter jackson's Brain Dead? A fabulous splatter comedy - his domineering mother gets bitten by a Sumatran rat monkey and turns into a hideous zombie and slowly the plague spreads... Complete with the best zombie baby ever on screen |

That's the one! Nearly laughed myself to death. As I recall the effects were actually pretty good. But the way all those erm things were mumbling and stumbling all over the place and each other had me in stitches. Gawd, I wish I had it on dvd. |

Buy it on DVD now and it has "FROM THE DIRECTOR OF LORD OF THE RINGS!" emblazoned on the front cover... "I Kick Ass for the Lord!" has to be one of the best lines ever in a film as the kung fu priest tries to despatch 3 punk zombies... |
