Me and a couple of forty-something mates went to a Halloween horror movie quiz last month to be faced by a room full of mostly young people costumed elaborately as either zombies or slasher victims while we were in our civilian duds. Calling ourselves "The Three Innocuous Serial Killers In The Corner" we went on to win the quiz easily, while casting subtly meaningful glances around the room and exchanging whispers while taking copious notes. I don't think any team was more terrifying on the night.
