It's very warm.

I actually knew that, but as someone fairly used to being drizzled with the not-warm fake stuff, feeling something hot streaming down my arms to fill wine glasses was actually pretty strange.

Just seen this – I hope you're getting medical advice, Niki. I mean on the cardiovascular and wound care front. You don't want keloid scarring, let alone more serious trouble. We're worried about you, poppet.

And let's not even start talking about C. difficile and MRSA.

Please take care.

You're drinking your own blood?

Ah Nikki, you'd be better off with Guiness love.

Don't play too hard hun.

Oh dear, now I feel sheepish. I didn't mean to worry anyone! Let me assure you it was done under safe and sterile conditions and 48 hours later I'm still perfectly fine.

My photographer friend China Hamilton did it because we had this terrific idea for a photo. He likes to sign his prints in my blood and I really liked the image of bleeding into wine glasses, so we killed two birds with one stone. I just wanted to share it with the horror community.

Again, I'm really sorry if I worried anyone. I honestly didn't think anyone would believe I was serious, let alone be genuinely concerned! But it's nice to know you care.

I'd love to share the photo, but I don't know if there are under-18s on this message board. It's on my website, though. Gallery 6, second pic.

The temperature of blood around here is about minus 50. It's bloody cold out. Not much warmer in. Snow's gone, though, for now, but the winds carrying a chill of frost are back.

Glad you're okay Nikki. No under-18s on here as far as I'm aware. It's pretty obviously an adult site, I'd've thought.
