At the risk of being shot down in flames, I watched Lancashire comedian Lee Mack's stand-up on TV this evening, and it was the funniest thing I've seen in years. I actually wept with laughter. Any comments from the UK-based RCMBers? |

I've really enjoyed him when I've caught the odd appearance. |

I loved the performance, Gary. What a star. I enjoyed the drink-driving routine and the bit about his dad and mum. If I could be successful in any performance art (actor, singer, etc) I think I'd choose standup as my preferred career. A brilliant comedian is God in my book. |

And I should point out that 'my book' isn't the Bible. |

The show was so good I watched it again on Channel 4 +1 immeditately afterwards, and wept with laughter again. God, I've needed a good laugh like that this week. Good stress relief. |
