Is anyone watching season 3 of Heroes? It's easily the single best thing on telly at the moment. Every episode leaves me screaming at the TV that they can't end the episode there the bastards. |

On the other hand, season three is so soul-crushungly awful that it's a surprise they keep airing them and don't put the show out of its misery. |

I've only seen the first series and thought it was okay: it's lightweight and shallow, but enjoyable. One thing that annoyed me was the constant 'save the world' thing, when it was only ever about saving New York (Americans tend to do that - equate themselves with 'the world', when they are actually just a small part of it, like the rest of us). It's a ludicrous show at times (Hiro seems to learn all there is to know about swordsmanship after an hour or so of practicing with his dad, for example - absurd). I think Lost, Battlestar Galactica and (now canceled, sadly) Jericho are a lot better. |

Heroes did very well in its first series. Alas, after that . . . I'm only watching still because it's on free telly. |

I think the script in series three is very silly and it's all become very confusing. But I'm still watching for the same reason as Mr Lynch |

Pretty much in agreement with everyone. I loved the first season, thought the second was middling, and am not digging the new season at all. |

It's the same with Lost; I was engaged by it to begin with, persevered with the first and much of the second series, but I haven't watched it since. If you want something to watch at 9 pm on a Wednesday night, switch over to C4 and try The Devil's Whore (well, for the next couple of weeks at least). |

I felt that Lost was beginning to lose its way somewhere around the second season, but my faith was restored in the third season. |

LOST is a sweeping, epic masterpiece. I adore the show. |

Watched season 1 of Heroes, started season 2, decided it was bollocks and gave up, free or not. |

Season 3 has been lunatic so far, and not in a good way. The characterisation is all over the joint, and characters frequently just 'appear' in other scenes without any good reason for being there. Also, Mohinder's story arc for the third season seems to be a total rip-off of The Fly. Lost, on the other hand, after a shaky second series is well on track again. It goes to show how much having an end goal in sight helps. |
