Anyone remember this series from 1991 on BBC2 Friday nights? Richard O'Brien would host a double bill of an episode of Kolchak: The Night Stalker and then a crappy horror movie like Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.

I mention it because it's my plan this Christmas period to get through a load of DVDs this way, using a TV episode as an appetiser for something scarier / dafter / more substantial. For example over the last couple of weeks I've been re-running Beasts in the appetiser slot:

Baby
Horrors of the Black Museum

During Barty's Party
The Abandoned

Special Offer
House of Mortal Sin

The Dummy
The Gorgon

BuddyBoy
The Grapes of Death

as you can see I've very much gone for the 'dafter' flavour for the main feature.

Anyway, now my Night Gallery box set has arrived I'm going to be using that in the run up to Xmas, if anyone cares to join in.

I'll watch some Night Gallery with you, Lord P! You must watch 'Silent Snow Secret Snow'.
