Huw, I saw it on its first (and possibly only) showing all those years ago. I recall little about it apart from the fact that I preferred the M R James stories at the time. The DVD looks like it's a third generation VHS copy:-

The second 'c' shouldn't be there (it's not the way Le Fanu had it, at any rate). Mick, I have a few of these old TV programmes and they are all of the same general low quality - better than nothing, though! I hope it gets an official release before too long. For that matter, I wonder why the BBC hasn't released all the Ghost Story for Christmas adaptations? I'd imagine quite a few people would buy them.
