My mother's just discovered the Harry Potter films. She's sixty-odd, drinks like a fish, and loves the Potter flicks.

I enjoy them, but find them a bit...I dunno...ordinary? Banal is too strong a word. Familiar might be better.

The third Harry Potter and book were easily the best. Wasn't Cuaron the director of the third movie.
