I've just this minute finished the first draft of "Hungry Hearts", my zombie novel for Abaddon Books: 92,000 words. After 10 insane weeks of hard graft, I'm suffering from a bad bout of flu, have chest and back pains, and was put on a course of antibiotics today...but I'm feeling very pleased with myself.
