I might not have agreed with his politics, but I was very sad to hear of Charlton Heston's passing. PLANET OF THE APES is one of the greatest films ever made, and old Chuck made more than a few decent genre films. he was a proper Hollywood star - a larger-than-life performer - amd we'll not see his like again. We must recall that before it was popular he was marching for equal rights and peace marching. He's from a different time; any star his age would be pro gun, and back in his day there were guns but no school shootings. I hated Micheal Moore for hectoring him. | ||

Considering most folk believe the American government are corrupt you'd think the citizens owning guns would be a good thing. Being that they were intended to protect the people from their government. But then guns nor protest would change anything. | ||
