Oh yeah, Terry-Thomas, I remember him... from what specifically, no, but I do remember him....

An old wives' tale was, that a gap in the front teeth is indicative of sexual promisicuity. Did you get to that part in the book yet, Mick...?

The blurb for slime (above the picture) reads "Turn on the tap...and diee of terror"

They don't make quality like that any more.

I'm sat in my local library, downloading these pictures onto the desktop to post here. I'm glad I'm in a quiet corner for a change.

I quite fancy the autobiography of Cheetah from the Tarzan movies. . . But that'd be silly. He's still alive, you know.

That last one is so... blunt.

Although now I want "Wild Dogs Ate My Lover".

Those are marvellous - and let's face it - if you were in the Swamp of Death with someone you fancied what else would have time for?

I'd probably try to avoid the swamp altogether. Maybe head over to the Swamp of Quickies instead.

The link itself is blocked from my job -- I'm assuming those are photoshopped covers?

Weird - the link goes somewhere meaningless!
Google "Longmire" and "romance" and you should be able to get there.

What's wrong with your snake? Some bloke seems to be harassing it with a stick, that's what.

"What's Wrong With My Snake?" could go, actually, with any one of those three romance covers....

That Longmire romance site was HILARIOUS!
The Blind and Buttonless Horseman - 'He had no idea where he was going because he couldn't see!'
'The Toy in Daddys Pants' - Ha!

My fave though is 'Birds Like Crazy People' and that little review in the corner. I've just lughed out long and loud at that. Thank you.

Tangent, but not - the opening to "The Rifleman" is forever forged in my mind - that stirring theme that makes you want to go out yourself and conquer the west - but even better, Chuck Conners walking down the center of the town, crazily unloading his rifle (er - look how he's holding it too)... and then he just keeps on walking, while he reloads, staring askance and annoyed at the camera... my god, it's a psychopath! Everybody run!!!

Is it my imagination or does the shadow of the log in the riflkeman picture make it look like the guy has pissed himself?

That's on top of all the other blatant imagery in the picture

As an exercise in understanding comedy I wish you all to discuss which of the previous two posts was the funnier.
Ahem.
