Very cheap. But it's a fortune to get back out.

It's held inside a brewery, isn't it? Sounds like a good deal.

It is one of the best venues around. All that Centurian's Ghost and Black Bess beer. Table lamps ansd cosy armchairs.

I might bring the missus. She wants to see what writers look like in the flesh.

Any idea how many might turn up?

'Any idea how many might turn up?'

Last Jan there was about 25-30 just the right number for the room. Good fun.

I'd be surprised if it were held in a brewery. Too many organisational problems.

"The BFS couldn't organise a piss-up in a brewery," claims Joel Lane.

My interpretation, obviously. :-)

Most of the events are held down south. Here you go.

Oh that south. There is only a fantasy event that I can see in Oxford - can't see any horror stuff. There is a call out from the BFS asking for members to organize open evenings in other areas.

I'm becoming so reclusive that I really need to get to York :>)

Great time spent with Steve, Gary and John Travis last night. The Centurian's Ghost beer well and truly got us...how's your head Gary? I'm fine now.

I had a great time. I'd be surprised if you three didn't have hangovers today - you finished off every last drop of Centurian's Ghost!

Thanks for a great night, Ally, Gary, and John.
(pardon the oxford comma) :-)

We had two pints of Guinness before the brewery but it was the taster tray that did for me. A little wooden tray that held four small glasses of different beers and then I think we had a couple of pints after that - powerful stuff that Centurian's Ghost. Black Bess wasn't there that night. Was one called Mad March beer? I know one was Constantine.
