http://www.amazon.co.uk/Camp-Literature-Gary-McMahon/dp/0786424664/ref=sr_1_6?ie =UTF8&s=books&qid=1233851026&sr=1-6 Is it safe to assume there's more than one Gary McMahon publishing at the moment? Or do you have more strings to your bow than we realised |

The 5 star review to this book is by someone called Gary. Is that another of our Garys? |

I can sympathize with Gary. My name is extremely common. It's annoying, especially in the Age of Google. For that reason, I've often considered using a pseudonym for my fiction. But whenever I begin brainstorming aliases, I always feel false and foolish. Guess I'm stuck with it for now. |

Maybe I should use "Gary McMahon" as my pseudonym, then? Or how about "Gary Fry"? Wait -- surely "Ramsey Campbell" isn't all that common, maybe I'll use that. |

Sigh. This one gets outed every couple of years (tee-hee). And, no, it isn't me. I don't even own a tent. (Oh, the humanity) |

Zed - You think playing the double bluff card will work, but everyone is too polite to say what we really know. You think publishing your own name in two different camps, pun intended, will throw the dogs off. C'mon, mate. I respect you regardless. It reminds me of that hilarious South Park episode in which Tom Cruise and John Travolta won't come out of Kenny's closet. Come on, Zed, come out of the closet!!!! |

Apparently you've written a guide to Kurt vonnegutt fiction as well. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Kurt-Vonnegut-Centrifugal-Force-Fate/dp/0786439939/ref=s r_1_10/275-1729191-8423126?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233935985&sr=1-10 And an economics text http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lessons-Economic-Macmillan-International-Political/dp/03 33642708/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233936023&sr=1-11 And something about macnas parades, whatever they might be http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cargo-Nuit-Making-Macnas-Parade/dp/0953813703/ref=sr_1_1 2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1233936091&sr=1-12 You seem to be a multi-talented writer if we were to assume these were all you. Have you considered using a middle initial for your authorial name? |

Me: famous serial flasher. But on the weekends I'm Grabirel Foo Foo, artiste and drag performer extraordinare. Craig - I always imagined you'd be a infamous serial killer with a penchant for withering one-liners just before you stappled someone's testicles to their foreheads. Craig - you googled yourself, didn't you, you little vain old cheeky monkey. No pun intended. |

Not just someone's, Frank - someone's specials. In my defense, Frank, I'd already known about this doppelganger. But yes, I've googled myself often... sometimes twice... which you can imagine how extensive that must be, googling doubled-over like that. (Get it? A google, doubled - eh, fuck it.) |

Craig - you really ought to get out more. Every time I escape, they bury what's left of the last set of guards, burn what can't be buried, scrub off the walls what can't be burned, and make me vomit out the rest, then hire a whole new set - and there you go I'm back again.... |
