He produced/wrote some of the best stuff on television during the sixties and seventies (and beyond), including some of the best episodes of The Avengers and Thriller, not to mention films like Captain Kronos and Dr. Jekyll and Sister Hyde.

I'll be in nostalgia heaven - The Avengers (Diana Rigg era) is my favourite tv show of all time.
