I've just watched this and have to wholeheartedly endorse Mr McMahon's recommendation. In fact if anything I loved it even more than he did, and I have to confess I didn't find it offensive at all. I did however find it hilarious, outrageous, and a jolly little low budget faith restorer that at least someone out there can still make movies than even have me wondering 'Who on earth came up with THIS?' From the opening cast list which seems to consist of porn stars, rappers and the director of The Exterminator (!) there's a made-on-the-hoof good-natured let's-shock-the-shit-out-of-people feel to this picture. I haven't laughed as much at a movie in ages. There's some cracking dialogue, some of the imagery is so funny I nearly had a hernia, and the rampaging enormous growling penis was just splendid. All this and the Gilliamesque animations over the end credits made me feel that the spirit of Monty Python is well and truly alive and probably living in Frank Henenlotter's basement |
