Hee-hee! I noticed ages back that just about every film on imdb has at least one message thread in its forum called something like "THIS MOVIE SUKZ YOUR DUMB IF YOU LIKE IT" (sic) and those are often the most ignorant (and therefore funniest) comments on the films, often transparently from teenagers or racists who are unable to type in lower case. Or indeed to think coherently. |

He-heh. Though the power of test screenings must also never be overlooked alas. Imagine Terry Gilliam screening '12 Monkeys' and people complaining that Brad Pitt wasn't made attractive enough, or that all this nonsense with time travel just didn't make any sense- lots of directors suddenly getting gray hairs overnight. BTW Sam Raimi's new horror flick 'Drag Me To Hell' just test screened and people who saw an unfinished version were calling it a return to Evil Dead 1 and 2 and they were calling it one of the best horror films to come out this decade. Its out in two months time in the US I think. |

Hi Ally: Thanks for stopping by! That all old stuff--admittedly rewritten somewhat--from Blogspot that I'm posting for the Redroom readers. It reminded me of how much I need to get out of town! Even Shithed, Nebraska sounds good about now. |
