I don't often splurge on books these days, but this edition of The Influence (one of my all-time favourite novels) is one I simply must have! Centipede Press have produced some absolutely gorgeous books. I only have a couple of them, but when I bought the Lovecraft art book the publishers were kind enough to send me a load of spare covers/promotional materials from other Centipede books. Several of them are extremely tempting... | ||

Right. So I went to the website and chose the version that claims to be for "UK and the rest of the world" and it seems PayPal is the only payment option. Not a problem but for the fact that my stupid PayPal account is registered to my parents' address in the States and it won't allow me to send stuff to the UK. I don't understand why not, because I use that account all the time when I get stuff on eBay and there's never any problem posting to me here in the UK. Is there any way to pay by credit card instead or even send a cheque (in US dollars)? | ||

Can I just say that reading THE INFLUENCE is possibly the worst preparation imaginable for being stranded on a deserted Prestatyn railway station on a cold dark winter's night, with the wind blowing the rusty station sign, skreek-skreek, skreek-skreek... cheers for that, Ramsey lad! |
