I have recently applied for a job with a local Barnardos group. I volunteer there in my spare time so I'm already well known to them and am almost certain get the interview.
Last night I dreamt that I was at the interview and when they asked me why I want to work with children I stood up in in my finest stentorian actors tones I recited in huge dramatic style, "I believe the children ARE our future. Treat them well and let THEM lead the way. Show them all the beauty THEY possess inside. Give them a sense of pride. To make it easier. let the children's laughter remind US how WE used to be."
At this point the interviewer stood up and started singing the chorus and we all had a merry singalong.
While this might not be an actual nightmare, the seed has been planted and if they ask that question, I'm really going to have to bite my tongue while I think of a more appropriate answer. |
