Which characters said, thought or “wrote” the following lines?

1 – I just worked out the square root of minus three.

2 – I’m so hip I have trouble seeing over my own pelvis

3 – The world ends with a wimpy, not with a bang?

4 – My name is unimportant

5 – The great omni-cognate wrangler could talk all four legs off an arcturan mega-donkey, but only I could persuade it to go for a walk again afterwards.

6 – Oh Freddled Gruntbuggly, thy micturations are to me
As plurdled glabbleblotchits on a lurgid bee

7 – Well he’s just zis guy you know

8 – Oh no, not again

9 - The dead swans lay in the stagnant pool.
They lay. They rotted. They turned
Around occasionally.
Bits of flesh dropped off them from
Time to time.
And sank into the pool's mire.
They also smelt a great deal

10 – Ground, that’s it! I wonder if it will be friends with me

half a point each for 6 and 7 - what are their names? 8 was not Marvin. The rest correct

stu - half a point for flowers - but what precisely were they? And a bonus 2 points for why they thought it... Correct on Deep Thought

I'm actually sad enough that I can quote the entire Vogon poem along with most of the defense of it that Ford and Arthur made up for it. That's probably not a proud boast.

No 1 had a GPP and a BTSOAP
No 3 is a line only heard in the TV series
No 9 is a line only seen in the TV series

The TV Series that was so much better than the film version (for all its mega-budget) I might add!

Well it was 90 minutes longer so it didn't have to cut most of the best lines for timing reasons

Need an edit button - the correct quote for No 3 is "The Universe ends with a wimpy, not with a bang"

Whoops.

It was indeed Agrajag who was forcibly reincarnated as a bowl of petunias two miles above the surface of Magrathea. 2 bonus points.

6 - Prostetnik Vogon Jeltz -
