Hi its Soozy here, It would appear that I have been tasked with finding a suitable Curry House for Saturday 19th's revelry. Before I can make a booking I need to know how many of you lovely people would like to attend. So as not to be disappointed, can I please ask you to put your hands up those of you who would like to join GCW and myself for a night of good food and company. I need to know by Sunday 30th August to enable the booking to be made, so please don't dilly dally if you want to be included! :o) Choice of Venue is....4550 Miles from Delhi, Maid Marion Way, Mount Street, Nottingham, NG1 6HE Suggest booking is made for 8.30pm Soozy x | ||

Me an' Debs please, Soozy! The web site for "4550 miles..." seemed a bit rubbish - I started to wonder whether they were still going or not. Chutney looks as if it would be a good second choice from the reviews. (Caroline, Soozy does indeed exist, and is a lovely lass too)... | ||

Oh Mick you are very kind, I did also look at Chutney's, I thought we went to 4550 last time, although im not 100% certain. If you'd rather do Chutneys we will make that the Curry House of the night. Dont want too many alternatives as this only confuses the issue. Soozy x | ||

Soozy - we did indeed visit 4550 last time, and I thought the meal and company very good - we'd happily go back there again, it was just that when we looked at the website for 4550 miles at the weekend it look like a bomb site, and I wondered if the restaurant was still open... | ||

I think we will go with Chutneys as it gets good reviews and not far from the Hotel. I will call with numbers on Sunday to make booking. | ||

The mass launch seems to be late sat night, Caroline (when everyone's pissed!) - anyway, the banquet is on Saturday night, at 7pm, so I doubt they'd schedule anything to conflict with that! | ||

Right folks, Its Soozy here, I have booked Chutneys for 6.30pm Saturday 19th September. There will be a grand total of 16 guests,(You know who you are!) I suggest we meet in the Foyer of the "lovely" Brittania Hotel at 6.15pm as it is only a 10 minute walk to the restaurant. Eating at 6.30pm will give us enough time to deavour our meal and get back to see the awards ceremony and enjoy the raffle and a few drinkies (im sure there will be a raffle) Look forward to seeing you all....dont be LATE otherwise we will go without you!
