I have an AOL broabband package. They gave me a free router. I pulled the power out of it than stuck it back in and now I no longer have a wifi signal. I have to connect my laptop directly to the router via a yellow cable now! Any idea what's going on? |

You should be able to get to the router's setup pages - plug your laptop into the router, and go to http://192.168.0.1 via your web browser - if it requires a username and password, look at the label(s) on the router. Once there, you should be able to get to a wireless settings page. If you're using a secured wireless setup, it'll have the password(s) here. It's possible they weren't saved originally, and the power off lost the info so it went back to its default settings. Or something. |

Mick, would that equally work for a Compex Netpassage 15-B router? A friend of mine obtained the thing second-hand without user manual and we can't find the manual anywhere on the www. |
