Well, I had hoped to make it to at least a day of FantasyCon, but I've realised it isn't going to be possible for me at the moment so I've just had to cancel the hotel.  But on the bright side, that does mean I've got a little more money left to spend on books, so I'll shortly be trawling the internet for various goodies which I would have bought at FCon but can't now. It's a pity as I would have liked to have said to some of you "Hi, I'm that crazy old lady on the RCMB". But I hope you all have a great time, and do let us know how it goes when you get back, won't you? | ||

Aw, thanks folks. I'm feeling better already. I've just pre-ordered a signed copy of Bryan Talbot's "Grandville" from the Forbidden Planet website. Next stop, PS Publishing to pre-order some Ramsey goodies. Weber's budgie joke made me groan. Frank, you're right, if you're not going to be there, there isn't much point me going anyway. I'm sure there's no-one else here worth seeing in the flesh.  Plus, hubby has promised me a day trip to my favourite place in North Yorkshire, so there's that to look forward to. And then there's the Ilkley Literature Festival coming up, so things really aren't so bad ... | ||
