Before I ask has anyone seen this, I'm going to say there's a fifty fifty chance that Zed and Lord Probert have. BTW, this isn't 'The Dark Rising', a kids film based on a series of books for teenagers.

Just sitting here scratching myself lol. Quiet weekend in for me but some good movies on the box tonight. Already planned a triple bill into the wee small hours: 'The Naked Spur' followed by 'Casino Royale' followed by Tarkovsky's 'Solaris'... nice variety of movies.

Stephen - jealousy rears its head. What a cracker of a line-up for movies.

Me: introducing my girlfriend to The Prisoner, followed by The Haunting. Tonight, I mean.

This afternoon I'm getting my four hours of writing done, and then sitting down to finishing Ramsey's 'The House on Nazareth Hill'.

Had a similar experience introducing an ex to 'The Prisoner' on DVD several years back - so I envy you!!

That just proves my point about remakes. When you say 'The Haunting' (have it too) I automatically know you mean the original version lol. Jonny de Bop's dazzlingly colourful, CGI crammed remake is a virtual textbook example of how NOT TO DO IT.

Exactly. I thought for a split second that I should 'make it clear to Stephen that I mean the original', then I stopped and thought that was a waste of time because you would would automatically know which version I meant.

There was something on the net a week back that suggested Aronofosky was thinking of doing his own version of 'The Haunting'.
