This is ringing a giant bell - there was some eerily similar incident here in so Cal a couple years back - foreigner, wrecks expensive car, wanted for fraudulently buying it, etc. - ??? | ||

He didn't fraudulently buy the car. He bought the car with funds fraudulantly obtained from a large variety of computer companies. He ripped IBM alone off for 1.5 million. I had to give evidence in court against him last year. | ||
