Yes! I've been to Littledean Jail today - the place Pete Walker used for all the exterior shots of his infamous classic House of Whipcord. Wandering around the outside was genuinely disturbing. It still looks just like it did in the film and there are heavy bars on all the windows. It's actually a very very bizarre museum now and they're kept all the old cells as they were. A quite unique afternoon's entertainment. It's also still quite obvious that the village of Littledean itself was used for some of the shooting as well. I am possibly the only person I know who would be so thrilled to finally find this place but I had to share it.

Now I wonder if i can find the rectory from House of Mortal Sin?

You lucky, lucky man! I love visiting film locations, and that must have been wonderful.

Apparently the owners of the Dead of Night farmhouse wish for its location to remain a secret.

I can't remember if John Croydon mentioned it in his Fangoria interview many years ago, when he was reminiscing about how they didn't know how to end it and he claimed to have said "Oh just run that bit at the beginning at the end again" or words to that effect. But I presume he couldn't have or someone would have picked up on that by now
It's been a long time since I read the article

It'd be horrible going to the location of a film only to find the film still happening, like a ghost, and you get caught in it.
Where's me pencil...
