Favourite line from Life of Brian Mine is either Brian - You are all individuals! Crowd - We are all individuals One lone man sticks his hand up - I'm not! or Aww I'm glad the meek are getting something, they have a bugger of a time usually. |

You're trying to make me go and watch it again to remind myself about it, aren't you Weber? |

Being a grammar school lad the scene I loved the most was the Romans Go Home one. "People called the Romans, they go the house?" - but it's all good stuff. "I wasn't picking my nose; I was gonna thump him!" Or:- "Who hit yours then - Goliath's big brother?" Or:- "We've got great lumps of it round the back" Or:- "Crucifixion's a doddle" "I wish you wouldn't keep saying that" Or:- "Crucifixion lasts hours. It's a slow, horrible death." "Well, at least it gets you out in the open air". Not watched it for years but it has some of the best dialogue of their films, even though I'd be hard put to choose a favourite between that and Holy Grail - "Ssupreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony". |

Being a comprehensive school lad, I like the stoning scene. |

Being a silly lad, I liked the "run away!" parts, as well as the glaringly obvious rabbit puppet killing people. |

Yes, especially when it went for their throats! "...and go and change your armour"! And "Tim the Sorcerer" too! |

Ian, Mick, that's Holy Grail you've quoted, not Life of Brian |

Ian, Mick, that's Holy Grail you've quoted, not Life of Brian I know! That's why I put "I'd be hard put to choose a favourite between that and Holy Grail" before quoting... |

Right… aren't we the picky one… Other than the roads, sanitation, wine, eduction, medical care (etc.), what have the Romans ever done for us, eh? |

Wife. Not mum. Good line anyway. The haggling lesson has to have a special mention as well I think. |
