Does anyone know when "listen again" programmes are available on Radio 4? Because on Saturday 6 March at 14.30 this is on: "Vincent Price and the Horror of the English Blood Beast" By Matthew Broughton. In 1967, Vincent Price came to the UK to make the horror movie Witchfinder General. It was the best performance of his career, and the worst few months of his life. Kate, I think you can generally get them on BBC iPlayer: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/radio But I don't know if all broadcasts will be available for listening. There's a good chance though. | ||

Kate - we'll be out on saturday too so I'm recording it - I'll happily put a copy onto a CD for you if it doesn't appear that it's going to be available via 'listen again'. | ||

Got the disks today, Mick - many thanks! The radio play was an absolute delight and I'm so glad I got to hear it. I didn't even recognise Kenneth Cranham! The actor playing Vincent Price was good but he didn't quite have the voice down. Still, I highly recommend it if it's still available on iPlayer. Good stuff! |
