You might want to clarify that, Tony. By "ha!" I assume you mean "jolly good show"? King does write highly of Ramsey in Danse Macabre. |

I meant it's funny how papers sort of breezily put things in without really thinking about it. Yes, I did worry that might come out wron. Or even wrong. King likes Ramsey, but be inspired by? It sounds like King grew up reading him... |

I got the impression that King admired the work, but knew his voice well enough that he didn't even attempt to emulate it. |

He did once - Crouch End. Not many people like it but I did. I think it might also be detected in Jerusalem's Lot. |

I thought King was trying to write Lovecraft-type stories with 'Crouch End' and 'Jerusalem's Lot' (in theme with the former, and in both theme and style in the latter). |
