I've just heard that my story SLAP will appear in issue 5 of the excellent magazine, Black Static. In the same issue, Pete Tennant will review my debut novel RAIN DOGS. This means a lot to me; I've been trying to make a sale to this magazine for years, since it was called The Third Alternative. Black Static -- as 3rd Alternative -- used to appear regularly in Borders, where I'd read it over a cuppa. Under its new guise it's oddly absent. (Oh, congrats on the appearance, Zed.) | ||

I like the artwork on the cover of the first issue. Took me a while to see it represents a fly - at first I thought it was part of a human torso on its knees . . . Congratulations, Zed. |
